FAQs

What happens if we have to miss a session due to a prior engagement?

If you know in advance that you'll be missing a session, we encourage early communication.
You may break up the missed hours and apply them to future or remaining sessions, schedule permitting. Makeups are not guaranteed but will be prioritized based on availability.

What’s included in the mentorship besides weekly training?

Each participant receives:

  • A customized training plan based on their tier and goals

  • Technique, choreography, strength & conditioning

  • Regular check-ins and progress tracking

  • Headshots and resume assistance

  • Video reel coaching

  • Exposure to academic and professional dance pathways

  • Mentorship in artistic development, community building, and leadership

Can I switch tiers later in the season?

Yes. Tier changes are subject to availability and schedule compatibility. You can only switch tiers once.

What if I get injured or need to pause temporarily?

We understand life happens. Short pauses for injuries or emergencies can be accommodated with documentation. Long-term pauses may require re-enrollment or re-application.

Do I need to be training at a studio to join?

Not at all. The program is open to all dancers, whether they currently train at a studio, independently, or are looking for more personalized mentorship.

Are all sessions 1-on-1, or are some in groups?

The majority of mentorship sessions are 1-on-1, but occasional group activities, community days, or intensives may be offered to foster peer connection.

What happens after I submit my application?

You’ll receive a confirmation email. If selected, you’ll be contacted for a short Zoom consultation before final acceptance. A $50 registration fee is due within two weeks of acceptance to confirm your spot.

Are sessions only on weekends?

Weekend sessions (Saturdays & Sundays) are prioritized, but weekday options may open up depending on demand and scheduling.

How are payments handled?

Payments are collected monthly. You’ll receive an invoice at the beginning of each month. Auto-pay options are available and encouraged.
